I was running a speed unlock cable to achieve 35kmh and after installing the most recent firmware update v1.8.2 it reset and locked the max speed back to 25. this new controller 01gxa comes with 32km on startup up and you can adjust to 35km after enabling sport mode in the app. everything is working as before happy customer thank you. don’t forget to unbind old scooter in the segway app before replacing controller and don’t ever update again

I have a European Max G2 01GYD, so 25km/h is not achievable by fiddling with the serial number or other things that don't work -> controller change is imperative, so after purchase and receipt: in order: disconnect your trot from the Segway Mobility app without forgetting to remove your security code if you have one, remove the plate from the bottom of the trot, unplug the old controller and plug in the new one (be careful and meticulous to avoid short circuits). . . Re-enable the default speed limit of 32, then re-pair the throttle with the Segway app to change the maximum speed to 35, and everything works perfectly: charging, turn signals, horn, and even cruise control! Cheap top, actually this controller allows you to use the number 01GXA so it's not limited to the countries in question ;) I hope my opinion will be useful to you.
