They should ship these already balanced. I bought this one and a 280ah and neither would charge to 14.6v immediately because the cells weren't top balanced. For that reason i would say only use with an mppt charge controller. A cheap pwm will pulse your inverter with panel voltage when the battery disconnects before 14.6v. In my case luckily my inverter has over voltage protection. Otherwise it might have damaged my inverter (12v panel will get up to 20v open ciruit). So my inverter would alarm, battery would reconnect after a couple of seconds and get too charged then disconnect and inverter would alarm again and over and over. It's kind of an oh crap moment. Mppt will just.convert voltage to maximum charge voltage you set and it doesnt matter if the battery disconnects. If you're running a large load who knows what might happen though.
They need to be top balanced before use. Other than that i havent had any problems with either and was pleasantly surprised especially by the price.

I have purchased several lifep04 batteries from other brands over the years and this eco-worthy seems to be as good quality as any of them. it’s certainly an excellent value. the bluetooth app connected without an issue and reported 37% charge for shipping. i charged successfully to 100% and 14.6vdc. i like the individual cell voltage reporting as an additional tool to judge battery health. this battery balanced perfectly. my only wish would be for a method to shutdown the battery for storage. after a few days of full charge, with battery disconnected from any load, the bluetooth remained active. i suspect this battery will have a higher rate of discharge due to bluetooth consuming a small amount of charge.

Excellent battery, 25% of the cost of one i purchased locally 4yrs ago which was 1/2 the capacity and doesnt have any of the wifi/blue-tooth status functionality. this 100ah battery powers my 12v electric trolling motor with ease

Wow, absolutely amazing battery i bought my first eco-worthy 12v 100ah battery about 2 months ago and it's been great than i bought atorch dl24p capacity tester and i tested the capacity and on the first battery which came out to 105.8ah which was great so i decided to buy another eco-worthy 12v 100ah and this one tested at 106.7ah. i now connected the two batteries in series for 24v and they have been great. the thing i like the most is that the cells are balanced very well. i absolutely love eco-worthy products i also have their power station which has been awesome for camping trips. when it comes to their batteries you just can't beat the price on aliexpress the first battery i bought during the spring sale when aliexpress had multi store coupons and eco-worthy had a huge sale and i only paid with tax in total $98.54 and now i bought this one during their summer sale and i bought it in total for $96.70 the shipping is free so for under $200 i got two excellent batteries.
