It's before installation... but it looks really sturdy... it's a bit heavy, and the one I used before broke, so I ordered this one... this one definitely won't break.
Good footrest, (5 stars for the low price) fits perfectly for a teenager's bike, long even after shortening to the minimum height. The only thing that had to be fixed was to glue a rubber pad in the place where the footrest touches its base when folded and constantly annoyingly rattles.
